Rachel Gilbert boutique
Rachel Gilbert has just opened doors to her new boutique in the heart of Sydney's Oxford St Paddington at the intersection. She's one of my favourite Australian designers and just love and her gorgeous style which is beautifully captured through the store.

Dresses through the maze
Just imagining how amazing it be to explore the mazes and photograph beautiful models in stunning gowns. This BHLDN shoot has totally got me inspired.

Peggy Hartanto
When I first spotted Peggy Hartanto's pieces I knew she was one amazing talent to look out for. Here's a video of her Spring Summer 2011/2012 collection; so beautifully filmed and edited.

Pamela Usanto
How stunning is the lady grace beaded tulle dress from the Pamela Usanto black diamond couture collection 2011? I see big things happening for this Melbourne based designer.

Johanna Johnson 'Trousseau'
If I could pick one of my favourite photoshoots, the Johanna Johnson Trousseau collection shoot would definitely be in my top list. Gorgeous soft, luxurious gowns with hand beaded and jewelled accessories beautifully photographed in a gorgeous location with stunning light is just pure perfection.

Evening Falls featured on Polka Dot Bride
Today I was fortunate enough to have my photos from the Evening Falls photoshoot featured online at leading Australian wedding blog Polka Dot Bride. Thank you so much to Ms Polka for being very supportive of my design and photography. (Means more than you can ever imagine!)
Also thanks again to the great collaboration team for the shoot including Make up by Megan, Emma Attenborough, Bridesmaids Only, Clementine Posy and Aley Greenblo... the shoot wouldn't be published without everyone's great contribution. Sooooo very excited!

Evening Falls
One of my favourite things about collaboration shoots is meeting new and creative people. I got to know some amazing talents while planning the 'Evening Falls' shoot... our model day was the beautiful Aley Greenblo (who beared the freezing afternoon wind), makeup by Megan Vaughan of Make up by Megan and hair styled by the talented Emma Attenborough.
We were fortunate to be able to have a variety of long evening gowns from designers Bari Jay, Jim Hjelm and Lisa Brown, which were all provided by Sydney store Bridesmaids Only. The flowers were there to complement the dresses so Clementine Posy designed bouquets that were in the same colour spectrum as the dresses... lemons/limes for the yellow dress and sunset tones for the coral worked perfectly.
Thanks to a brilliant team for a wonderful day and hope to work with everyone again some time soon. I started back at uni yesterday, so that was my last shoot for the holidays. I do have some more in the pipeline though so stay tuned!

Red
I've never been a big fan of the colour red, or maybe I just can't pull it off. But this dress by Carla Zampatti is amazing.. the textures and breezy yet stiff fabric screams glamour and style. Red is getting me in the Christmas spirit, quite close now!

Alex Perry & Waterford Collection
I may say this a lot, but I really LOVE this photoshoot. The colours, lighting, models (Sophie Faulkner & Catriona Rowntree), dramatic dresses by Alex Perry and the amazing colours are just blowing my mind away and I'm in heaven right now!
The shoot is to celebrate the collaboration of Waterford Crystal with Alex Perry. Demonstrating the creative possibility of using Waterford Crystal in fashion, Perry created three gowns, each beautifully embellished with the illuminating shimmer only found in Waterford's crystal. Feminine and unashamedly romantic, the three Waterford Crystal gowns, in their pretty colour palette of lilac and nude, bear trademarks only known to Perry's work - refined elegance, prestige and luxury. The dramatic silhouettes feature hundreds of metres of lilac and nude tulle cascading over underwired corseted bodices. The tulle has then been swathed and wrapped, then embellished with sparkling Waterford Crystal.
