What a year it has been. In June this year I posted my very first post on silk truffle and I hope everyone has enjoyed my little inspiration and photography posts.
2010 has given me many opportunities which I am very grateful for, I have experienced second shooting at a wedding for the very first time and also part of a few collaboration shoots. It has been a year where I have met many new creative people that I greatly respect and admire. Thank you to the readers of silk truffle who have emailed, commented and posted on the blog, it makes me smile every time!
So here's to welcoming 2011, I hope it will be filled with many creative endeavors and meeting new people on the blog. Happy New Year!
Just to finish it off, here's a sneak peak image from my last collaboration shoot.
Love Jess xx

Seasons Greetings
Merry Christmas! Hope you've had a lovely day filled with lots of love and laughter, surrounded by family and friends.
Here's a sneak peak photo from my latest shoot. I've been working straight for the past 7 days, so am absolutely flat out and haven't had the chance to go through the photos yet!

Quiet space
I'd love to have a little room with soft neutral colours just like this when I have my own home one day.

I'm back!
I've just returned from an overseas holiday in Indonesia, where I attended my cousins beautiful wedding. Below is a sneak peak photo of the gorgeous floral decor on the day. I have never seen so many flowers in one room before, it was a truly extravagant wedding to attend.
Now that I'm back in Sydney, I'll be working at my retail job where it is packed with Christmas shoppers (I can't believe how close it is). But luckily I do have tomorrow off which I am very excited about, I have my very first official photoshoot which I have co-planned and organised along with Luisa of Serendipity Corner Photography. I can't wait to work with a beautiful team, I just hope the weather gods will look after us!

Christmas Wreath
This has got to be the most beautiful Christmas wreath I have ever seen. In fact I think I might be afraid to put this on my door in case someone steals this gorgeous magnolia wreath sold at Papier D'Amour, a gorgeous stationery store in Double Bay.

Red
I've never been a big fan of the colour red, or maybe I just can't pull it off. But this dress by Carla Zampatti is amazing.. the textures and breezy yet stiff fabric screams glamour and style. Red is getting me in the Christmas spirit, quite close now!

Letterpress Christmas Cards
It's that time of the year to send out Christmas cards. I'll be posting quite a few Christmas related blog posts during the month of December. I found these simple elegant letterpress cards by Etsy seller rubyvictoria.
