One Fine Day

I'm so excited to visit One Fine Day, a boutique wedding fair happening on Sunday 27th May 2012 at Sun Studios. Today was the launch of their website and to celebrate this they are giving away free tickets for 24 hours until 12pm tomorrow. Get in quick, it's an event not to miss. This will not be your average traditional wedding event, but instead a selection of great wedding vendors for creative couples.

Jenny Sun Photography Sydney Workshop

Last week I attended a workshop held in Sydney by Jenny Sun, one of my absolute favourite photographers! It was great to meet Jenny after admiring her work for such a long time. I had a great time over the 3 days learning and meeting a bunch of new talented people.

As the workshop progressed I had time to think about where and how I wanted to take my photography to the next level. So I'm definitely feeling very inspired and excited for the next stage - my own photography business!

On the second day we split into 3 groups and had a day shooting on location. My group was paired with gorgeous couple Jess and Adrian who are ever so in love and getting married at the end of the year. Thanks guys for being such great models for the super long day; I can just imagine how sore your jaws from keeping the smiles on your faces all day! Also a big shout out to Oscar & Ruby for the cute props and styling, Amy Chan for flawless hair/makeup and to Wiki of The Big Films for capturing us over the 3 days and putting together a video which can be seen below.

'Laced & Graced' Bridal Shower

My final shoot of 2011 wrapped up with a smile on my dial; I was lucky to work with a creative team on the Laced & Graced bridal shower shoot. Trish of Essential Wedding Design styled an absolutely gorgeous and elegant dessert and sitting table with a colour palette to represent the femininity and grace surrounding the day. Thank you so much to Trish and a great team for all your contributions to the shoot!
