Freedom is here!

I've finished college for the year so now have a 4 month break! Wheee! So from now I'll be working at my casual job while having a little holiday in between. Just makes me smile when thinking I have no 'to-do' list for uni! I can finally relax and catch up on sleep after barely having any last week!

I think its also coming close to a year that I've had my camera, but it definitely doesn't feel like that long. Uni has taken my time away and it feels like I have barely used it (considering the overall time frame). So my aim is to learn and experiment more about my photography these holidays and hopefully organise some photoshoots! I can't wait!

Personalised Letterpress Stationery

To have my own personalised stationery would be wonderful, but to have my own letterpress stationery would take me out of this world. I was browsing etsy and came across some lovely personalised letterpress note cards. (I'm thinking of getting some). But I know if I get them, I will be a hoard and keep them to myself. I find it hard to part with my beautiful stationery (I know that may sound weird to some people.)

Bridal Party Flare

Gorgeous gorgeous bridal party shot captured by Natasja Kremers. I Love the sunflare in this stunning image and all the lovely dresses the ladies are wearing from Rose and Ruby, one of my fave designer stores which sadly closed down earlier this year.

On a personal photography note, I'll be tagging along Luisa from Serendipity Corner Photography at a few weddings in the next few weeks (actually one tomorrow). I can't wait! What an awesome experience she is giving me, I'm forever grateful.

Little Envelope

I recently came across Little Envelope, a website selling gorgeous watercolour prints designed by Lyndal. She sells her work as prints, on cards, canvases and even wall murals. Lyndal has even designed invitation sets, perfect for children parties!

Autumn shoot

When I first developed an interest for photography, one of the first photographers I came across was Jenny Sun and I have been following her ever since. Jenny is a wedding and portraits photographer based both in Sydney and Malaysia and I love the emotive portraits she captures in every single natural light image.

Visiting Jenny's blog is a regular for me, so I often see the different projects that she has worked on. One that sparked a twinkle in my eye was this autumn shoot, which I would like to share with you today. Many who know me, will know I love long flowy evening gowns (it's a shame I don't get to wear long evening dresses more often!) The dresses used on this shoot were from Pretty in White. I love how Jenny describes the autumn colours of the shoot as "deep yellows, fiery reds, cinnamon browns, and sun-kissed oranges fill the kaleidescope that is before our eyes." Definitely the perfect description. Take a look for yourself!

Freedom in a few weeks

I can't wait to be as free as this cute little girl once I finish all my assessments. Its the final few weeks of the semester, so everything is coming to an end and tying up all major assessments (my course doesn't have exams). So sorry if I abandon the blog for a little while, you'll know why!
