Rachael Ruddick Cuff

I first fell in love with Rachael Ruddick accessories when I spotted a small range of her cuffs at a Sydney boutique last year. Since then I have been eying her entire collection. Initially it was her cuffs that grabbed my attention; they are absolutely divine and come in a whole range of textured skins. I am particularly in love with the new 'Quartz Sting Ray' wide cuff. My heart raced as I saw my favourite shade of pink teamed with the two large gold sphere balls to create the stunning cuff. So glam!

Portrait Photography

I LOVE sun flare shots... just never know how to get it right. I'm still practicing! These shots were taken earlier in the year when I got my camera. We headed down to a local area and I was shooting with AV mode my 50mm 1.8 with manual focus (which I thought is what you had to use - I had troubles manually focusing with the sun in the background so all my photos are kind of out of focus)

Photography competition

Jenny Sun Photography held a competition to submit a photo for a free lomo camera giveaway and I was fortunate enough to be one of 5 finalists. My photo is below and entry required a photo with the words "I Love Lomo" as well as creative use of light. It was fun to set up my photo and it was the first photography 'competition' I've ever entered so that was very exciting for me to see me photo up on such a great photography blog from one of the photographers I admire!

My Photography

College semester break and currently I'm into photography... what better then to start a blog to share my photos? Photography is a whole new learning curve for me and I'm ready to explore the ins and outs.

I'm currently studying graphic design but have always had a love for photography. I purchased my first dslr camera (Canon 450D) a few months ago and have been trying to use it as much as possible ever since. But college has kept me busy, so now I'm on holidays, I'm hoping to get out there and take more photos.

Would love to play around more with fashion and portrait photography if I have the chance! So friends, get ready to model!!! ;)
