She Walks in Beauty Photoshoot

Earlier this month I photographed a fashion and beauty shoot with sisters Maddie and Brittanni Peat. It was my first collaboration shoot as the sole photographer, so it was a little bit daunting at first, but I was very grateful to work with people that were encouraging and supportive of my photography journey.

Flawless makeup was executed by Cathy from Minx Makeup & Spray Tanning and the beautiful hair by Candice Lee who also let us use some of her Candice Lee Accessories, which complemented the dresses so well.

Birthday flowers

Yikes I can no longer can call myself a teen as I turned 20 today. Am loving the colours of the birthday flowers I received from work.

Pretty Young Things Collaboration shoot

In December 2010, I photographed and organised a collaboration shoot alongside Luisa Brimble. Not only did I have a fun time during the shoot, but I didn't realise preparing it was lots of fun too. Together we organised a team, which included the model Sophie Crenigan wearing beautiful dresses by Valerie Tolosa, makeup artist Megan Vaughan, hair stylist Candice Lee and flowers by Chanele Rose Flowers.

When I approached Valerie to see whether she was interested in lending us some clothing from her label, I was hesitant if she would even reply to me... let alone saying YES. I've been following Valerie's clothing for years now, so it was very exciting that I had the opportunity to photograph some of her pretty dresses.

I'm so grateful for each and every person who came on board for the shoot and to Luisa for organising with me (while being heavily pregnant). Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon.
