Petrina and Nathan's Wedding

Last month I assisted (3rd shooted) with Luisa of Serendipity Corner Photography of at two weddings, one of which I will share today, the beautiful wedding of Petrina and Nathan.

This is my first set of wedding photos I've ever posted, so I'm excited to share. I love everything about weddings but my faves are always seeing the dress, flowers and bridesmaids gowns. From the moment I saw the dresses and colours of the flowers of Petrina and Nathan's wedding, I knew we were in for a great day of photos.

One of my favourite parts of the day was the brides preparation which I had lots and lots of fun. It was my first time ever to capture this part of the day and I loved the excitement of the girls floating about and dressing up. More importantly to me as a photographer, I loved that there was time to capture all the beautiful details.

After the ceremony we headed to take photos at a beautiful location at the park overlooking the water. It was very exciting to see the sun out to take some of my fave sun flare shots with the bride, groom and beautiful bridal party.

I had a blast at the wedding and loved being there every minute of the day. I can't thank Luisa enough for giving me this brilliant opportunity.

 

Tiffany & Co

Adoring the Tiffany & Co Some Style is Legendary 2010 ad campaign. When initially watching this, I remember the first dress shown and thought it looked familiar. It is a beautiful Marchesa dress that I admired (and still do) when looking for dress inspiration for my year 10 formal (4 years ago now). Love the filming of the beautiful ad, its so chic don't you think?

*bespoke* is a new little Australian zine all about handmade, vintage, photography, art, micro-business, eco-friendly goodness and I'm so fortunate to be featured in their first issue!

I just received my copy in the mail and was very excited to have a read and see my photographs featured in the precious little printed piece! It's my first time to ever have been published anywhere, so I'm very appreciative of that, I'm so privileged to be able to share my photography work with the beautiful creative community out there! Time to time I admire pieces of furniture, in particular this avignon linen ottoman by Whiteport. Maybe one day in my future home?

Detailed cushions

I recently came across the Mr & Mrs White cushion collection while browsing Glen Allsop's (the talented photographer behind these images) blog. I love the look and feel of these hand made cushions from the neutral colours to the raw textured linen fabric with subtle stitched detail.

So today is the big Melbourne Cup... good luck if you've put a bet on. I loved this cute invite designed for the staff at Samantha Wills for their Melbourne Cup Luncheon!

Tahitian Dreaming

I'm dying for a holiday right now after looking at this shoot photographed in Bora Bora by Darren McDonald for The Lane. Ahh my photography dream, a stunning model, beautiful dresses and the most beautiful backdrop!!! Wonder if I can pull off some collaboration shoot sometime soon.

Freedom is here!

I've finished college for the year so now have a 4 month break! Wheee! So from now I'll be working at my casual job while having a little holiday in between. Just makes me smile when thinking I have no 'to-do' list for uni! I can finally relax and catch up on sleep after barely having any last week!

I think its also coming close to a year that I've had my camera, but it definitely doesn't feel like that long. Uni has taken my time away and it feels like I have barely used it (considering the overall time frame). So my aim is to learn and experiment more about my photography these holidays and hopefully organise some photoshoots! I can't wait!
