I recently came Brisbane photographer Natalie McComas and have fallen in love with her photos. Nat has a way of beautifully capturing a location in a natural and simplistic style. In particular this I love the colours and styling from flowers to dress of Chantelle & Reid's small country wedding.

Sarah Hankinson : Fashion Illustrator
Last week I discovered the talented Melbourne fashion illustrator Sarah Hankinson who created the most gorgeous feminine illustrations with splashes of colour. Not too long ago I posted Garance Doré's illustrations which have a similar aesthetic feel. (I'm sure you can tell the style of illustration I like!)
Sarah sells her prints on her etsy site here. I would love one (or three) in my room, I'm still swooning over all the different illustrations.

Faerieland Shoot
As soon as a glossy magazine (or should I saw one of my many magazine subscriptions) hits the front of my doorstep, I tear open the plastic and jump straight to the high-end editorial fashion shoots! My favourites are always the ones that feature beautiful dresses shot with beautiful natural landscape backdrops.
One of the photographers I follow regularly is Trish from tealilyphotography a portrait and wedding photographer (not that I am anywhere near getting married!) But I love Trish's style and approach to photography.
When she posted this personal shoot of hers on her blog, I was seriously speechless, totally in love and in heaven (seriously)! If you like fashion and photography like me, you will LOVE this gorgeous shoot. This is one of my favourite fashion shoots that I have EVER seen, it just oozes glamour and style - a perfect feature for the silk truffle blog.
The cocktail dress by Sylvia Lee has layers of different shades of pink and mauve material, which looks stunning against the white muslin tent and backdrop of gorgeous coloured autumn leaves styled by Rebecca Isgrove. Hope you like it as much as I do!
